STWFC Donate Kits to Africa

More than 1,200 items of football memorabilia have been shipped to Africa as a scheme launched at RAF Shawbury continues to be successful. Replica shirts and football kits have been collected by Flight Lieutenant Neil Hope from RAF Shawbury, to bring a smile to football fans' faces in some of the poorest areas of South Africa. "Many people and clubs have given underprivileged adults and children football kits so they can live the dream as they see in the World Cup"

So far 655 shirts have been received, with another 200 bring pledged. More than 1,200 items have now been shipped to South Africa, and it is hoped the appeal will continue to run throughout the year.
