As from the start of the 2008-09
season, TNS and Shrewbury Town Women's football clubs have
merged to form one club which has taken the name of TNS/Shrewsbury
Town WFC. This new club runs 3 teams, a first team in the
Midland Womens Combination football league – Main division,
a second team in the same league but in the Reserve division
and a third team playing in the Shropshire
County
